Polonia Palace Hotel

|
You'll have trouble finding many grander edifices in Warsaw than that of the Polonia Palace Hotel, a looming mansion on one of the capital's most famous streets. Projecting windows, balustrades and fancy brackets decorate its elegant cream facade, and the fun doesn't stop there... Inside a polished marble lobby and glass-ceilinged atrium set a splendid tone. The rooms come with individually-controlled AC, internet access and sound-proof windows, whilst saunas and a Technogym keep health gurus happy. There's even a decent view of the Palace of Science and Culture across the road! |

Wonderful, inexpensive hotel with lots of character. Very central location, almost across the street from metro. Nice size rooms - my only complaint was the bed, the mattress seemed a little thin and "budget". Good Polish food served in the restaurant downstairs (especially the zurek:). All in all a great deal!
