Hotel MDM

Part of the same chain that runs the 4 star Polonia Palace and 3 star Metropol, you know you're in safe hands when you book into the MDM. Its location on Constitution Square has got to be the MDM's main selling point. The square was the realisation of socialist architects, and love it or loathe it, is an important part of Warsaw's troubled 20th century history. It is also pleasingly nearby to the delightful Lazienki Park, as well as the all-important Metro Line, which can whisk you up towards the Old Town in a jiffy!

Good value for the money. Big rooms and pleasant staff. I enjoyed looking out onto Constitution Square, it's already dusted with snow and looked like something from an old spy movie. Far cooler than 'modern' Warsaw!
