One of the most imposing buildings on the capital's skyline is surely the gigantic Novotel Warszawa Centrum hotel, which is tall enough to exchange the time of day with passing cumulus clouds. Thankfully the building enjoyed a much-needed face-lift recently, meaning it looks less like an enormous coffee wafer and more like the state-of-the-art hotel that it is. Once you get bored of the creature comforts in your room stroll down to the bar, imaginatively named 'Le Bar', to listen to the resident duo band, imaginatively named... You guessed it, 'Duo Band'!
