Hotel Powisle

Located in the city centre in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by a park, the Hotel Powisle means 'by the Vistula', which conveniently enough, it is. The towering hotel holds 138 beds in suites, single and double rooms, which, though lean towards the old-school motel style as far as the decor goes, all have their own bathrooms, telephone, TV and radio. The hotel also has conference and seminar rooms that hold 12 to 300 persons. Breakfasts are included in the room price, and are served in the hotel's restaurant, which also serves quality but cheap Polish food during the day.

I stayed here a while back. For the price it isn't too bad and not far from the city center (10 minute walk). The free breakfast was pretty good and had several different kinds of food. The only bad thing that I can say is that the bed I had was absolutely the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. It was like a piece of wood!
