Zlote Tarasy

When Arkadia opened in Warsaw's Zoliboz neighborhood, we all thought this was it - the mother of all shopping centres, and nothing could top it. Well, we humbly admit we were wrong and the Poles have surprised us again, this time with the architecturally elaborate "Golden Terraces" (Zlote Tarasy). Granted, Arkadia is still almost twice as big size-wise, but style-wise, Zlote Tarasy has got almost any other shopping centre beat - from the moon crater-like roof which opens its view to central Warsaw, to its perfect location right smack in the middle of the city. The shops inside are of the normal European shopping centre variety - from H&M to a giant Saturn - but you don't have to come for the shopping, the views are enough to satisfy any aesthete.

Fantastic mall and so modern! I love its shops, my favourite as everywhere is Swarovski, although the prices were pretty high there... I found 2 RMU's one was 'LAURA' or something like this, another one 'Bobstarr' where I bought a beautiful necklace with 100's little Swarovski crystals - half price! Enjoy your time there, take lots of cash, and reserve at least half of your day!

A great place to kill some time! Nice food court, plus a gym and cinema. Really nice design.

A little expensive but really nice building. Very close to Central train station. Perfect because I had a lot of time before my train :)

A unique building in the centre of Warsaw, and the shopping inside ain't bad either! One of my favourite places to shop in Europe!

Wow!!! This has to be the nicest looking mall I have ever seen! Check it out from the outside too, it has a cool wavy roof. COol Hard Rock cafe too :)

This is the weirdest looking shopping center I've ever seen in my life, in a good way though :) Great selection of stores, you can get practically everything there.
Oh and you have to try Japanese food in the food court!

Lord protect us! More of the same shops as in every other Warsaw shopping centre. Fantastically sited escalators mean you really have to go round the whole place in order to get out! Of course the missus loves it!

absolutely fantastic looking mall! iconic. Very ironic to see this symbol of capitalism wedged in between the Palace of Culture and Science and Warsaw Central Station
