While Krakow claims to be Poland's 'cultural capital', Warsaw holds its own in the culture department, with an arsenal of fascinating museums, theatres, cinemas, and other cultural attractions to keep even the most demanding culture vulture entertained.
Nonetheless, the city is a modern metropolis, and just getting around Warsaw, and from museum to museum, can be difficult and often time-consuming, especially if you're unfortunate enough to encounter Warsaw's traffic while driving. Luckily, the Warsaw Tourist Card offers a public transportation ticket for the duration of the card's validity, so you can zoom from attraction to attraction on Warsaw's trams or underground. Of course, the real value behind the card is the free or discounted admission you get to museums, as well as discounts to various art galleries, accommodations and restaurants, physical recreation facilities, sightseeing tours, shops and car rentals.
For more information and a full list of partners, please visit the official site of the Warsaw Tourist Card.
