Holmes Place

I agree with the last comment, the gym at this hotel (hilton) makes it worth going to over any of the other hotels in warsaw. It must be the most luxurious gym i have been to.

Kino Muranow

I went to see the Banksy film here a few months ago and thought it was a really good cinema, not like the big modern chains you find in the shopping centres, but one with character and individuality. Kino Femina on Solidarity street is also another that is worth visiting.

Toastmasters Polska Club

The meeting place has changed to Warsaw Stock Exchange - check their homepage for more information. There is also one more club meeting in Warsaw, Speaking Elephants Toastmasters, www.speakingelephants.com, they meet on Tuesdays.

how much is a movie ticket

Kinoteka

I haven't tried the cinema but I just want to say the cafe in reception is great. Coffee with milk is just 7 zl and they have candles, an old film projector, marble floors and leather sofas. Far better value than most the coffee shops nearby.

Multikino

Excellent modern cinema with lots of screens and comfortable seats. The great thing is that all English language films are subtitled in Polish but keep the original English soundtrack that enables you to go and see almost any film you like.

Exquisite Warsaw

Lazienki Park is quite simply the most beautiful and magical city park that I have ever visited - cannot wait to return, I hope I still feel the same way next time, it seemed almost unreal.
