Kino Muranow

Muranow Theatre is owned by Gutek Film, a Polish distributor of artistic films. The theatre's repertoire is based mainly on arthouse films brought in by Gutek Film, though it's also a place for film reviews, premiers, as well as several film festivals that occur throughout the year. The theatre is small enough for that arthouse feel, with just two screens, though the comfortable couches and Dolby Digital will make you think you're in a multiplex. Each hall seats 238 movie lovers.

I went to see the Banksy film here a few months ago and thought it was a really good cinema, not like the big modern chains you find in the shopping centres, but one with character and individuality.
Kino Femina on Solidarity street is also another that is worth visiting.

wow jo, they sound pretty mean. don't let that steely-faced polish exterior get you down, they are all a bunch of softies beneath as well! btw - nice cinema!

I liked the building, not the staff. They started yelling at me, because I really needed to go to the toilet, and didn't realise i needed a ticket to enter that area. I was really suprised (quite shocked, really) and, frankly, they made me cry. I tried not to make a scene but it's questionable whether it worked. Isn't there a Polsih saying, 'Your client your master' or something like that?

The Muranow is a great indie cinema. It is the only place in Warsaw you will some great and more importantly recent indie films in English. Keep up the good work.
