Ryanair, Europe’s No. 1 low fares airline announced yesterday that with just 10 days to go to the launch of five more Polish destinations, Poland is set for a low fares revolution. On Sunday, 30th October next, Ryanair will start daily flights from London Stansted to Bydgoszcz, Szczecin, Rzeszow, Lodz and Gdansk. These cities, when added to Ryanair’s current Polish routes to Poznan, Wroclaw and Krakow, will bring the total number of Polish cities served by Ryanair to 8.

Speaking this morning, Peter Sherrard, Ryanair’s Head of Communications, said:

“In just 10 days time, Ryanair will start flights to five more Polish cities. This is the first time that Bydgoszcz, Szczecin, Rzeszow, Lodz and Gdansk will be linked from the UK with direct low fare services. Advance bookings on these routes have been phenomenal with over 200,000 seats already sold. Ryanair will carry over 1 million passengers on its 13 routes to 8 Polish cities in the coming year.

“Seats on these and our other routes - are being discounted by £5 per flight, or £10 per return flight from Friday, 21st October until midnight Thursday, 27th October 2005 – we are advising passengers to go to www.ryanair.com today to get their low fare seats to Poland”.
