Idea Becomes Orange In Poland

 

Mobile operator Orange, a subsidiary of the France Telecom group, has announced the launch of the Orange brand in Poland.

PTK (Polish Cellular Telephony) Centertel in Poland has replaced its customer-facing brand, Idea, with Orange. Centertel in Poland is the latest operation to adopt the Orange brand in Europe and is Orange’s third largest operation both in terms of revenues and customer numbers.

Orange now has operations in 17 countries, having re-branded existing operations in France, Slovakia, Romania, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Botswana, The Netherlands, Madagascar in the last four years.

Some of the devices that will be launched for Orange users in Poland are the Philips 362, the Sagem MYX 6-2, the Samsung Z300, the Sony Ericsson K600 and the Sony Ericsson PC Card GC 89.
