New German Consul Assaulted

Police in Gdansk is continuing its search for the three youths who assaulted the German consul in the city yesterday.

Ute Minke-Koenig assumed her post only a week ago. During a walk through one of the city’s dangerous areas, the consul and her husband were attacked by three boys around 15 to 17 years of age. The couple suffered minor injuries and had their camera stolen.
