First Gap Store Opens in Poland

American fashion brand The Gap has opened its first store in Poland at Arkadia shopping centre in Warsaw this month. The move is part of a continued push for the company in central and eastern European markets, with Warsaw as one of the first test cities for the brand in the region.

The clothes on sale at Warsaw's The Gap are the same items as in similar Gap shops across the globe, and are only slightly more expensive than similar shops in Poland.

Following the recent opening in Warsaw, as well as Ukraine and Serbia, The Gap plans to expand its presence in Poland in cities such as Katowice, Krakow, and Wroclaw.
