Spanish Restaurant Best of 2010

It may already be March but it's never too late to take stock of what contributions last year gave the city of Warsaw, including its culinary scene which continues to flourish. Warsaw's daily Gazeta awarded its annual Knajpa Roku (Restaurant of the Year) to Spanish restaurant La Iberica at a ceremony earlier this year.

La Iberica was recognized for its experimentation and innovative use of ingredients, making it one of the most original gastronomical destinations in Warsaw.

Several other intriguing restuaurants were nominated for the award and certainly also deserve a visit: El Greco (Greek), Maho (Turkish/Halal meat), La Table (French bistro), and Tamka 43 (avant-garde European).

La Iberica is located on Plowiecka street at number 35.
