500 Days to Euro 2012 in Warsaw
Only 500 days remain until the kick off of the Euro 2012 football championship which will kick off in Warsaw on 8 June 2012 and continue on in cities across Poland and Ukraine.
Massive investments, funded by sources as local as the city and as far-reaching as the EU, have kept Warsaw on track with both building its massive new stadium as well as upgrading infrastructure such as transportation links. Unfortunately however, it appears that the project of building new expressways across Poland will not be completed in time for the championship.
The Polish organizing committee also announced that tickets for the championship will go on sale online through the UEFA website starting on 1 March.
