Warsaw Hosts Euro 2012 Draw

Representatives from across UEFA's member associations as well as UEFA president Michel Platini gathered in Warsaw's Palace of Culture and Science for the qualifying groups draw on Sunday, February 7th.

While Poland and Ukraine have automatically qualified for the championship (as hosts of the event), the remaining teams were formed into nine groups which included six six-team groups and three five-team groups. The outcome of the games within these groups will define the countries which will participate in the Euro 2012 championship in Poland and Ukraine.

The qualifying groups are:

Group A: Germany, Turkey, Austria, Belgium, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan

Group B: Russia, Slovakia, Republic of Ireland, FYR Macedonia, Armenia, Andorra

Group C: Italy, Serbia, Northern Ireland, Slovenia, Estonia, Faroe Islands

Group D: France, Romania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Belarus, Albania, Luxembourg

Group E: Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Moldova, San Marino

Group F: Croatia, Greece, Israel, Latvia, Georgia, Malta

Group G: England, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Wales, Montenegro

Group H: Portugal, Denmark, Norway, Cyprus, Iceland

Group I: Spain, Czech Republic, Scotland, Lithuania, Liechtenstein
