The Warsaw edition of one of Poland's top newspapers, Gazeta Wyborcza, has closed the 2009 edition of its Top Restaurants competition. This year, the nominated restaurants were: Bialy Domek, Buffo, Enoteka Polska, sushizushi and R20.
A jury made up of Aga Zaryan, Maria Seweryn, Edward Dwurnik, and Robert Wieckiewicz awarded the top prize for Top Restaraunt of 2009 to newcomer R20 Bistro and Restaurant. The Reader's Choice award was given to contemporary sushi joint sushizushi.
