The Warsaw Film Festival is in full swing in Poland's capital showcasing Polish and international talent in the world of cinema. The festival started on the 9th and will continue for six more days until the 18th, so there's still a chance to check out one of the many films in the festival's programme.
This year the Warsaw Film Festival (WFF) is divided into five competitive sections, the highlight of which is the International Competition whose winner will walk away with a 100 000 PLN prize and the Warsaw Grand Prix. Other competitive sections include Competition 1-2, The Free Spirit Competition, The Documentary Competition, and The Shorts Competition.
There are three main cinemas taking part in the WFF - the Kinoteka Multiplex in the Palace of Culture (Plac Defilad), Multikino Zlote Tarasy (59 Zlota), and Kultura (21 Krakowskie Przedmiescie).
For more info and a full programme stop by the WFF information points at Kinoteka or Multikino, or check out the website here.
