Pirates in Poland!

Recently, a gang of pirates were caught in Poland - and by that we don't mean your traditional, eye-patch-wearing, parrot-shouldered pirates, but the more modern, electronic version. Polish police arrested four members of what is believed to be the EU's largest ever gang producing and distributing pirated CDs and DVDs.

Almost 54,000 CDs and DVDs were seized by local police, including copies on movies yet to make it to DVD, such as Slumdog Millionaire. One of the places in which the discs are believed to have been produced is in a a legal A/V copying centre in Warsaw. Perhaps it's good that the 10th Anniversary Stadium is now closed, the pirating business has taken quite a toll!
