Warsaw Squirrels Go Nuts!

Well perhaps it's a bit early to classify Lazienki Park's red squirrels alongside the Wolves of Willoughby Chase or the Beast of Bodmin Moor, but one things for certain - you'd better watch out if you're on a casual stroll around these gardens.

After receiving several complaints from passerbys that squirrels have attacked and even bitten them, park authorities have been forced to issue a public notice warning against the dangers of these ferocious critters.

However groundsmen are keen to defend the animals, saying that the squirrels will only turn nasty if taunted with false promises of food. In another words don't utter the words, "Cooey Mr. Squirrel here's a juicy nut for you," unless you can back it up with a high quality almond.
