After many years of a not so healthy lifestyle, the very fact that Keith Richards still remains alive is a source of universal wonderment. He's up there with Iggy Pop and Shane McGowan as one of the all time champions of death-defying logic. To add to this, the gallant Keith still plays the guitar better than just about anyone else on the face of the planet, so all the more reason to book your ticket to one of the major events of the Summer - the Rolling Stones in Warsaw.
Mick, Keith, Ronnie, and the inimitable Charlie, whose combined age is a glorious 246, will be touching down for a gig at Warsaw's Bemevo airport on Sunday 18th June. Unlike in China, where Mick was obliged to edit the lyrics of some of his favourite tunes, the Poles will not be demanding the removal of lewd phrases from the repertoire.
Tickets are now on sale, and they're unlikely to last long. After all, the truth is that the Stones are in a class of their own - age simply doesn't come into it....
