The humble Polish dumpling is one of the most popular choices for a deliciously filling dinner in Poland, and it's also one of the most popular Polish exports abroad. Nearly all Polish restaurants feature the standard choices of pierogi with such fillings as meat, cabbage, and cheese and potato. But here at Zapiecek, the dumpling is king, and alongside the usual flavours you can also choose from spinach, cheese, and seasonal fruit fillings. This particular location of Zapiecek in the historic Old Town also serves a variety of other Polish dishes from soups, to meat, to Polish crepes. Overall a reliable spot for a taste of the local cuisine.

Extraordinary!! The ruskie pierogi that I proved it's amazing. The attendants are very polite, and the price, itīs very tempting, specially for me (Brazil itīs very expensive nowadays). A very nice plate of pierogi, with beverage (water), a dessert and a coffee, for just a US$ 15,00.. I nominate this restaurant, actually, as my favorite in entire world.

I do not agree with Bessy - I found the food to be very reasonably priced considering portion sizes. We ate at the Kabaty location, which I must say is the best of all in town - first of all it is very large and roomy (the Old Town location is much smaller, cozier) and they have plenty of fun things arranged for children. I would recommend you take the family to Kabaty and visit the Las Kabacki forest on a nice day - then stop in here for lunch before heading back to the city centre.

Great place for an intro to Polish grub. Not cheap, but reasonably priced.

This restaurant was very good. This was our first time at this restaurant and it was very good. We went to the one around the corner from Nowy Swiat (near the dreaded Palm Tree) and we also went to one near the old town. The old town location was much smaller than Nowy Swiat but both places were very good. The staff were very attentive and they had menu's also in English. We visited these restaurants a couple of times each during our stay and the Pirogies were very good also. Chickan soup is good also.I highly recommend this place for visiters to get a good Polish Dinner or Lunch.

Really tasty joint. I always make sure to stop by for a plate of dumplings every time I'm in town.

Fantastic! their venue near the palm at the end of Nowy Swiat has a window where you can grab a handful of bite sized pierogis to go.

One of Warsaw's most reliable spots for some good Polish grub. Top spot to bring some visiting friends!
