This is arguably your best bet in Warsaw for Hungarian nosh. And the punters certainly seem to agree - Budapeszt atttacts everyone from local ambassadors popping out for lunch to Samson-like motor bikers in need of a hearty meal before whizzing off into the unknown. The decor is simple and charming, with folksy wooden furniture. But of course, the proof is in the pudding, or in the goulash, to be more precise. The tasty food and excellent Hungarian wines win on both counts. Certainly enough to toast the old Polish saying ' The Pole and the Magyar like brothers stand, Whether with sword or with tankard in hand.'
