Sweet Warsaw

KOM

"I agree with Michael. Stop complaining and start enjoying the fact that KOM is a different sort of restaurant and a welcome change from a lot in Warsaw which are lacking in character. It can get better, but it is already good. I give it 4/5."

"KOM is one of Warsaw's best restaurants, its look and feel are very upmarket while not being onerous on your wallet. If you make a night out of it, enjoy an aperitif at the bar, dine in one of the 2 very nicely appointed and spacious dining rooms, retire to the downstairs whiskey bar and smoking area - KOM becomes a complete evening, with plenty to discuss - including the decor, the food and yes, the hard to navigate menu. However, to make it a magic evening, it needs a lot of people for this formula to work and hopefully more people will realise that they have jewel in their midst."

"Skip Kom and head to "Kwai" just a few minutes away for a more unique food experience."

"Could there ever be a more confusing menu to navigate than the one at KOM? Probably not. The wine list is extensive, but once again is built on the same sub-level grid as their menu. My expat friends have deemed it a "Royal fuck up." God forbid you have a few drinks and then want to order something different, you'll spend 20 minutes starrring at it, giving up in frustration & telling the bar-tender to "just give me another of what I was having." The food is tasty but is nothing unique for Warsaw. You can find twenty other places that serve "fusion" style cooking of equal quality. BTW- The picture they are showing is the basement/lounge level, not the actual restaurant. "
