Chlopskie Jadlo

|
Chlopskie Jadlo (Peasant's Fare) was a runaway hit in Cracow and it was only a matter of time before their winning formula arrived in the capital. As the name suggests, you can expect rustic, hearty dishes served up in a dainty, folkish atmosphere. A further bonus is the gloriously incongruous nature of the setting - Plac Konstitucji is arguably the most imposing slice of social realist architecture in the entire city, perhaps second only to the stonking Stalinist Palace of Culture itself. Enjoy those pails of 'smalec' lads. Only in Poland. |

I have eaten in this restaurant in both Krakow and now Warsaw. If you want to try simple Polish traditional food in the farmhouse rustic style this is a great place to go.
