The charming Saska Kepa district managed to come through the war pretty much unscathed, and it's a much-loved (and increasingly upmarket) area. A stroll through the Skaryszewski park is a certainly a pleasure, and you can round it off with a trip to the lovely Figaro restaurant. Here you can enjoy classic Polish cuisine, and in Spring and Summer you can sit out on the terrace. If you're worried about having too much of a good thing, you can burn off the calories at the nearby tennis courts. A great place. |
