Utopia

Now Closed One of the hottest addresses in town for boys that don't like breasts, Utopia, like many successful gay clubs, has become a mecca for party-goers of every disposition. Classy decor, great DJs, up-for-it crowd and a VIP room with all the champagne and sushi a man needs, Utopia indeed lives up to its name. Needless to say gaining admittance to this 'Heaven on Earth' is no easy feat, and the club's doormen are known as some of the most picky in town. These discerning St. Peters have even been known to turn away the odd celeb, so be warned - only your dandiest shirt will do.

Last night, Laurent WOLF the so called great DJ was at this club. I received a nice email few days ago informing me about that party. It was suppose to be possible to get inside the club at 11pm, then at 12pm, then it was just impossible. Thank you for nothing "Utopia Club", thank you for making people wait in the cold. Hopefully, there are other nice clubs in Warsaw.

Everything at this club is high end..The music, dancing, decor except for the personalties of the patrons that is a low end.Snobs and so into themselves..Get a life!! Hot bartenders..Security guys at the front door one step above white trash but you have to get their blessing. Amazing mix. If bored I'd do it again..

i live in NY, been in clubs in paris, berlin....never had a prob with admin, the guy who was wearing some H&M shit look at me like "hello" even if i thk i was dressed fashionable(maybe for the local standarts i wasnt) haha its funny place, no classy people there, no posh ones, few posers, few local celebs(but no1 knows them outside poland-sure-they are famous!!!)

great club, perfect people, nice atmosphere.... getting in at 1:30am was no problem at all for me and my boyfriend. i have to admit, i hardly saw people over 30...

still, great place to party !!!

In regards to people who couldn't get in. It is quite likely you went to early. People just start arriving at 1:30 a.m. so if you were early they probably told you to go away because nobody else was inside. Once it gets going, it is a lot of fun. Just be prepared for blasting sunlight when you leave.

super mainstream, but still fun. wear comfortable shoes or prepare for feet covered in blisteres after all the dancing!

Oh gosh, this place is a little sickening...Fred from UK was spot on in his review. There's very little that is "hip" or "cool" about this club--the sound system is great, I'll give them that, and they attract great djs--but the crowd is the least interesting I've seen, is like watching the Mickey Mouse Club. If you're looking to see and be seen (in bright lighting at that), pose and smile, this is a place for you. If you're looking to dance for the sake of dancing and meet some crazy people, you're better off going to Luztro or Tomba Tomba, or better yet across the river to Praga. I have no problem with exclusivity, and think places like Berghain in Berlin are perfect examples of how it works to benefit a party--that bouncer is a genius. But here it seems they exclude just to seem exclusive, that they don't really have a goal in mind of what mix they're trying to create. or duh, yeah, maybe mix is the key word there. I'd say best chance if you're looking to get in is to just pluck your eyebrows as thin as you possibly can (for the guys that is).

First you get judged by the way you look by someone who essentially works on the street (at the door to a club). Once you pass the test you get a really warm feeling that you are somehow better than most. Once inside you realise that this really is a rubbish club. It is full of wannabes who believe that because the 'I've been brought up in a hierarchy society and havent experienced any thing else' door staff let them in, that they are having fun. There is the '80 trend of dancing on the bar going on. The posters for the club are rehashed London club scene one's. They advertise London and UK DJ's who are not know on the UK club scene. The music at times is good but your attention really is taken up by the ultra cool dance moves, complete with high kicks by the sunglassed punters who seem to define this place. No hardcore clubbers here only H&M trend aware wannabe snobs. Gays beware this club is 50/50 hetro gay. I think I made a wrong turn but I was so happy to be let in.

Been twice! Probably the best spot in the city... rude entry though! Saw DJ ruch & deon last year over there and the atmosphere blew me away... will be there again for Kostas Maskalides or Danny Tenaglia!

I have travelled the world and this is the only gay bar where I have ever been refused admission. I still don't know why, but I just know that I will not be back.

the best club in warsaw and frankly the hippest one in poland thats why the door selection is so hard to get through i am a girl and even though it is a gay friendly place it is very friendly place for me as well...theres no other place with music decoration and drinks like utopia ...its hot

who do they think they are refusing me at the entrance!
