Foksal 19 has become the premier address on a street full of premier addresses, ever since its neo-gothic walls gave birth to the excellent bar, club and restaurant of the same name. A fabulous lounge area on the ground floor - which comes complete with glowing marble bar - makes for the perfect arena for elite party-goers to exchange fashion tips; whilst upstairs a twilit purple dance floor sets some of the sexiest hips in the city swinging. Needless to say if you're ugly, poor, or sartorially-challenged, you're better off staying at home rather than facing the humiliation on the door.

"I must be ugly, poor and sartorially-challenged (as mentioned in the intro here) as they wouldn't let me in. It was pretty early on a Friday evening. I jumped up to look in the ground floor window and the place was totally empty! Maybe it's so cool that they turn away everyone?"
