"Seems to be happening a lot in Warsaw now, opening a cafe in a bookshop.'Traffic' and 'Empik' are doing it as well but I think CB has a nicer intimate feel and a relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately being Warsaw most people don't actually buy any books, they just sit around all day with one coffee and read everything for free. The owners of CB also opened a wonderful open plan bookshop/bar/cafe on the ground floor of a cinema in Praga, it was called 'Bambini di Praga'. Lots of art/cinema/design books and tons of space for kids to run around in and study the kids books without being told off + the added bonus of beer and wine. I thought it was really great and was truly saddened to read on the internet that it closed down a few weeks ago. " | Maf
