The Palace of Culture and Science (or Palac Kultury i Nauki in Polish) is the one building you can't miss in Warsaw - literally! Today it's a museum and a centre for many conferences and cultural events, and also has an observation deck where you can catch a great view of Warsaw. "Ask someone from Warsaw what they think about this building, and be prepared for a half hour speech! It's definitely the city's most controversial structure, and everyone has their own opinion."
