Studium Teatralne

|
Studium Teatralne has been one of the leading players in the emergence of Poland's avant-garde theatre. It was originally set up in 1996 by Piotr Borowski, who had played a part in many experimental productions over the years. Studium Teatralne performances are regular features of Polish and European Festivals, and they won have won the critics award of leading Polish newspapper Gazeta Wyborcza. The theatre has staged some radical reworkings of Polish classics, whilst in 2004 their major production was a fresh take on 'Parsifal'. 'Hamlet' will be next to get the Studium treatment. |
