Horseriding and Hunting

Horse-riding and hunting were sacred pastimes in Old Poland, where the cult of the horse was on a mythical level. The legendary Winged Hussars of the Renaissance era were the scourge of the Central European battlefield, whilst there Napoleonic heirs were no less famed.
