Dramatyczny

Besides being one of Warsaw's most exciting theatres, this place is also intriguing as a relic of the bad old days under 'Uncle Joe' Stalin. The programme may have changed from those first days as The Polish Peoples Army Theatre, but the setting remains the same - you'll find it in the bombastic Palace of Art and Science, the Batman type building that dominates the Warsaw skyline. In these topsy turvy times the building is beginning to acquire something of a retro hipness, and the theatre is one of the most popular in town, with a range of top premieres each season. Worth a look. |
