Raster

Raster is something refreshingly different. It came about in the wake of the success of the Raster Art magazine, which was founded by two friends back in 1995. Their art space on Hoza street is a laid back meeting place for artists and art-lovers. They opened their gallery cum common room in 2001 and it's one of the best places in town to keep tabs on what's happening in the world of Polish contemporary art. They've organised some great exhibitions, and they are particularly focused on today's young generation of talents.

"There are some bright young talents in Poland right now, so if you're looking for the next Damien Hirst, check out Bujnowski, Sasnal and the others represented in this very cool, unpretentious gallery/hangout."
