Galeria Foksal

This gallery was at the forefront of the Polish art scene for many years after its founding in 1966. It remains a place of inspiration today. Tadeusz Kantor and Wlodzimierz Borowski, two of Poland's greatest stars play writes were involved in actions here during the 60's. today the gallery presents a range of painting, sculpture, and graphics, as well as installations and performance art.

A really wonderful gallery with a true passion for contemporary art. The people that work there are very friendly and speak English, so I learned a lot about Polish art!

Gsllery Foksal is one of the most couragious gallerys of the twentieth century. As Art is part of the history of ideas Foksal has contributed more than It's share.I had the honore of showing there in 1966 and now in my 77th year, becoming prominent in American Art, I would like to show there again.
